Plaça Molina, also known as Plaza Molina, is a station of the Barcelona Metro. The station opened in 1953 and it is located under the Plaça de Molina square which is in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district, the north-west of the city.
The FGC, also known as “Catalan Government Railways”, is a railway company which operates several unconnected lines in Catalonia, Spain. The line operated from Pl. Molina is L7, also known at Balmes Line or Linia de Balmes, with connecting subway lines to every part of the city. This is a great way to travel through and see the city while making the most out of Barcelona.
There are many great restaurants around the Pl. Molina, including a great juice and smoothie bar called Zuum. They serve great smoothies made out of fresh ingredients, along with pastries, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and so on!
Another lovely option for pastries, is Las Delicias, just 200 meters from the Pl. Molina. They have delicious tasting and looking home baked cakes and pastries from a local patisserie.
There are also amazing hotels in Barcelona in this part of the city, including Pol & Grace Hotel. This is a great 4-star hotel within a 30-minute walk of Casa Batllo, Park Guell and Casa Mila, although there is, of course, also the metro option.
